Exam Pattern and Duration

The IELTS test is your gateway to studying, working, or living in English-speaking countries. • Overall Duration: The IELTS exam takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes in total.

Computer-Based or Pen and Pape

Choose the format that suits your style and comfort for the IELTS exam! Whether you prefer the precision of a computer or the familiarity of pen and paper, IELTS has got you covered. Here’s how you can take your test:

• Computer-Based: IELTS offers both computer-based and pen-and-paper versions. The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections can be taken on a computer, but the Speaking test is always conducted face-to-face with an examiner.
• Pen and Paper: You can also take the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections on paper if you prefer.

Result Time

After showcasing your English skills, you'll want to know your results promptly. IELTS delivers your scores with impressive speed, allowing you to plan your next steps with confidence. Here’s when you can expect your results:

• Result Release: Results are typically available 13 days after the test date. For computer-based tests, results may be available sooner, usually within 5-7 days.

Types of Questions
